Full pre-departure briefing given. Paddle(s), buoyancy aid(s), and a limited number of waterproof phone cases and dry bags are included with the booking.

Key information for hires from the Lakeside:

Parking: There is lots of free parking available across Lakeside Shopping Centre (12 free car parks and 12,000 spaces). Car Park D is the closest to the promenade, where you will find Fluidity (on the pontoon). Lakeside offers a great selection of eateries, restaurants, entertainment venues and retail outlets - find out what’s available here.

Facilities: There are changing and wash room facilities onsite, as well as locker storage. No shower facilities are available. There are

Age restrictions: All under-18s must be accompanied by someone over the age of 18. Under-8's cannot operate their own craft. 1 adult to 2 children maximum ratio. The exception is with rowing boats, where 1 adult can supervise up-to 3 children.

Launch restrictions: Please note, there is no private launching of craft permitted on Alexandra Lake at Lakeside. Only hire craft can be launched.

Furry friends: Dogs are permitted on kayaks, canoes and rowing boats, but not paddleboards.
