Join us at Lakeside Shopping Centre on Alexandra Lake for our Group Social Paddle - a friendly, laid-back session designed for anyone who wants to get out on the water, meet others and enjoy a relaxed evening paddle.
Starting at 6.30pm, this session gives you 1.5 hours on the water, with plenty of time to paddle, chat and enjoy the atmosphere of the lake as the evening settles in.
You can choose from single kayaks or paddleboards, with tandem kayaks and tandem paddleboards available upon request. Whether you’re coming along solo, bringing a friend or joining as part of a small group, this is a great way to enjoy paddlesports in a relaxed social setting.
What to Expect
The session will begin with a safety briefing and equipment introduction before heading onto Alexandra Lake. Once on the water, you’ll be able to paddle at a comfortable pace, enjoy the surroundings and spend time with other paddlers.
This is not a formal lesson, but our team will be there to help you get set up, answer any questions and make sure everyone feels safe and comfortable.
The focus is simple: good vibes, gentle paddling and a fun evening outdoors.

Who It’s For
Our Group Social Paddle is perfect for beginners, casual paddlers and anyone looking for a relaxed activity after work or in the evening.
It’s ideal if you want to try something new, meet like-minded people, bring a friend along or simply enjoy a peaceful paddle without the pressure of a formal session.
All under-18’s must be accompanied by an adult. This session is for those aged 14+ only.

Subject to interest, our Group Social Paddle at Lakeside will become a semi-regular session, giving you more chances to get out on the water and be part of a friendly paddling community.
